Hand made at Wallaga Lake on the Far South Coast NSW using second hand natural fibre clothes to make beautiful & strong bags to last. Most of the aboriginal prints are bought new from suppliers that pay the artist on every purchase. I use heavy duty 100% cotton & 100% Tencel thread plus cotton fusible interfacing to make sure they can handle wear & tear (once i use up my current facing i will be use cotton facing with biodegradable glue). 100% of the fabric is utilised so nothing goes to waste. Unfortunately most new material i purchase is made overseas but i will always buy second hand or failing that Australian made if i can. Always love to collect any natural fibre clothes from locals that would otherwise end up in landfill!!! While the majority of the bags are made from 100% natural fibres a few contain 2% to 3% elastane so these will be labelled as such. All bags are machine washable, i recommend delicate cycle or hand wash for small stains.
Pick up is available at Wallaga Lake & Bermagui. If you have a specific style/size/pattern bag then happy to make on request!! i will be adding new bags every couple of days. If anybody in the local area has old clothes/jeans that are in reasonable condition id love to hear from you. Wild Beauty Photography - Free Spirit
Theres nothing i love more then having the freedom to roam the country at my own pace. Exploring places for the first time, the changing landscapes & the different plants & animals that call them home. I bought my first camera in 2017 & since then i head off every late autumn/winter in search of somewhere new to discover. Below is a collection of my favourite images. Hope you enjoy :) james
At this stage i will only be printing my images on cards etc until a more sustainble/environmentally friendly option becomes available for fine art/canvas prints
25% of profits go to Bush Heritage Australia
Only minor editing & happy to show raw file before purchase
